Jenica joined Branch MacMaster LLP in 2022 as an articling student, following which she was invited back to the firm as an associate in 2023. Jenica practices in the areas of civil litigation and class actions. She enjoys representing her insurance clients in various litigation defence matters, as well as physicians in both regulatory and civil litigation matters. Jenica’s class action practice encompasses both plaintiff and defence side claims.
During her time studying law at the University of British Columbia, Jenica volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada. In her second year of law school, she provided academic support to students as a peer tutor. Jenica also spent a summer as a research assistant preparing course materials on principles of legal theory and critical perspectives on law.
Outside of work, Jenica enjoys hot yoga and dance. Having grown up in the Okanagan, Jenica also loves biking, hiking and visiting wineries.
