Jessie is associate counsel with Branch MacMaster LLP. She is a research lawyer who enjoys finding creative solutions to complex legal problems, writing succinct legal arguments, and supporting the firm’s lawyers across all practice areas.
Prior to joining Branch MacMaster in 2025, Jessie was research counsel for a prominent Vancouver litigation boutique for many years. Before focusing her practice to a research and writing-based one, Jessie appeared before all levels of court in British Columbia and several administrative tribunals.
Jessie attended law school at the University of British Columbia, after which she was judicial law clerk to two justices of the British Columbia Court of Appeal.
When not lawyering, Jessie is likely playing soccer, coaching soccer, attending soccer-related board meetings, or watching soccer. She also enjoys speed-reading fiction, writing fiction, and exploring Vancouver Island with her husband and two children.
