Supreet Singh

Supreet is a litigation associate maintaining a practice focused on complex commercial litigation and class proceedings. She works on high-stakes disputes involving document-intensive litigation, evidentiary analysis, and multi-party proceedings, and has developed particular experience in matters requiring large-scale discovery and strategic coordination. 

Supreet has taken on significant responsibility in complex litigation, contributing to and helping execute discovery strategy in complex proceedings, managing key aspects of large-scale productions, and supporting the development of litigation strategy through detailed evidentiary analysis and written advocacy. She also contributes to the evaluation and development of potential class actions, including preparing investigation memoranda addressing liability, certification strategy, and commercial viability. 

Prior to joining Branch MacMaster LLP, Supreet articled and summered at a leading national law firm, where she worked on complex commercial litigation and class action matters. 

Supreet received her J.D. from the University of Alberta, where she earned multiple academic and advocacy awards, including the Suzanne Mah Award in Law, the Jones and de Villars’ Prize in Administrative Law, and the Honourable Clinton J. Ford Shield. She was a member of the winning team at the Clinton J. Ford Moot and also competed in the Bennett Jones Health Law Moot. 

During law school, Supreet was actively involved in client-facing work and legal entrepreneurship. She co-founded the River City Venture Legal Services Centre, an entrepreneurial legal clinic providing support to early-stage businesses, and represented clients in landlord–tenant, employment, and administrative matters through Student Legal Services. 

Before law school, Supreet completed an Honours B.A. in International Relations with Distinction at the University of Toronto, where she received the David and Vivian Campbell Scholarship and the International Relations Director’s Award, and published on terrorism and crimes against humanity in the Intra Vires Undergraduate Law Journal. She has also held leadership roles with Amnesty International Canada and other community organizations, contributing to initiatives focused on access to justice and human rights.
