Miralex Skin Cream

This lawsuit sought to recover damages for personal injuries suffered as a result of use of the Miralex Skin Cream. The lawsuit was certified as a class action on February 6th, 2000. Counsel for the class were Branch MacMaster and Hanson Wirsig Matheos.

The class consisted of all persons who purchased or received Miralex cream distributed by either Defendant who used the cream on their person and alleged to have suffered injury and/or to be entitled to return of amounts paid for the cream. People from outside B.C. were given a right to opt into the lawsuit, but that time period has now expired. The period to opt out has also expired.

A settlement was reached between the Plaintiffs and the Defendants. This settlement was approved by the court as fair and reasonable on April 18th, 2002.
